About
I wasn't diagnosed with ADHD or Autism until my late 30's, after having a family and struggling to maintain my well crafted coping mechanisms. Despite working as a teacher for many years with neurodivergent teenagers I didn't recognise the qualities in myself - though I found I very much 'got them'. I've come to realise what a valuable strength neurodiversity is in our societies, families and workplaces and I strive to share all that I know to empower others to be their best selves.

Coaching is about understanding your own strengths, needs and identifying what you want out of life, right now and in the future. The aim is to empower you, through careful questioning, psychoeducation and support, so that beyond the sessions you can continue to develop and grow.

I have my own coach through access to work who helps to guide me - sometimes we can know every strategy under the sun, but having accountability and space to reflect on how and where to prioritise our energies can change everything.

FAQs
How is coaching different to therapy
Coaching isn’t therapy. Think of it more like a partnership where I help guide you toward your personal or professional goals. While therapy often focuses on healing and exploring the past, coaching is forward-looking. We work on actionable plans and skills to help you thrive in the present and future. I’m here to support you, not to "fix" you. If I think therapy is a better fit for where you are on your journey I'll let you know.

What qualifications do I have to work as an ND coach
I’m a qualified teacher with a special focus on SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), working with both teenagers and adults. Over the years, I’ve also gained experience as a health and wellbeing coach, as well as a job coach. I am a qualified neurodiversity coach.

I’ve done extensive training on understanding ADHD and Autism, as well as hormone health and PMDD and I’m passionate about sharing that knowledge with others. Advocacy for better neurodiversity awareness is close to my heart because I believe the world needs more understanding in this space.

On a personal level, I have lived experience with both ADHD and Autism. I truly believe they bring incredible perspectives and talents, but I also know firsthand the challenges that can come with them. That’s why I’m so dedicated to supporting others on their journeys.
Do you need a diagnosis to work with me?
No, you don’t need a formal diagnosis to work with me. While my focus is on supporting neurodivergent individuals, I’m open to working with anyone I connect with. What really matters is that we have open, honest communication between us—that’s the key to making coaching work.
I also recognize that many people identify as neurodivergent through self-diagnosis, and that’s completely valid.

All you need is a willingness to have open conversations. Plus, you don’t need a diagnosis to get help from Access to Work, and if you’d like, I can guide you through the process of applying for that support.
How do sessions work?
We’ll usually meet online, and each session is focused on you. We’ll talk through where you are now, where you want to be, and work together on getting there. I provide a safe, supportive space where we can brainstorm, troubleshoot, and celebrate your wins, big or small. I can help to validate your experience, recognise patterns and build towards your future.
